DNA Structure is now available in Jmol (instead of MDL Chime).
DNA Structure in Jmol
This new Jmol version is recommended over the old MDL Chime version because:

• It works equally well in:
  • Internet Explorer 7 (or 6) or Firefox on Windows.
  • Safari on Mac OS X (PPC or Intel).
  • Mozilla on linux.


• It needs no installation.
  (Some Windows and linux systems may need to upgrade or install java, a quick and painless process.)

For those who prefer, DNA Structure in Chime remains available. The old Chime version will be phased out when demand ceases.

• Chime works only on Windows (not on Mac OSX nor linux).
• Chime works in Internet Explorer 6 or Firefox, but not Internet Explorer 7. Other browsers are uncertain.
• Chime requires installation of MDL Chime.
